On the day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

One u-haul trailer and 28 small blocks of cheese!

We took a little road trip on Christmas eve and had to rent a U-haul to get us there. We stayed at Sean's mom and dad's house and had a great time. The boys were completely spoiled! Memaw rocked each of the to sleep which they all loved and papaw fed all the boys. Of course we had to pack almost our entire house for one night but it was worth it. The little men slept all night in their pack n' plays, they were so good!

On Christmas morning we all got up and Sean's mom started to make sausage biscuit and cheese balls (their family tradition) but she couldn't find her cheese. She was certain she got it so we searched the fridge...nothing. So, Daddy and Papaw set out on Christmas morning to find some cheese. They went everywhere that was open and came home with 24 small blocks of cheese, they were .99 a piece...the most expensive cheese I have ever bought. I had to grate all those little blocks but the tradition was saved.

The boys actually enjoyed opening their presents. Of course they were facinated with the ribbon and paper but also got very excited when they saw the toys. Christmas was so much fun, I can't imagine next year.
Their favorite toys were defintely their books and anything that plays music. They have been dancing since Christmas morning. My favorite present they got was a year's membership to the Indianapolis Zoo. THANK YOU MEMAW! I got a new camera lense....YIPPEE and Daddy got a TomTom (if you know my husband he is ALWAYS lost).
We started a few traditions of our own and had a WONDERFUL 1st Christmas!
Happy New Year Everyone!
I will be posting a slide show later...

We're all finally healthy!

Knock on wood but everyone in my house is healthy at the moment. The boys have been in wonderful moods the last few days. I have so much to update everyone on I don't know where to start.

We have a new nanny starting on Monday. I think she is going to be wonderful. She spent the entire day with us Saturday. The boys warmed up to her very quickly and she was great with them. She's also a paramedic...what a plus!
As for the boys, they are dance machines lately. I can't sing at all, and I mean that. I am sure at least one of my friends will chime in here and agree with this statement (you know who you are, lol). She has had to hear me sing on way too many road trips and always at the top of my lungs of course. What a good sport she was! Anyway, the boys will even dance to my singing...they do love their mommy!! There is a lot of booty shaking going on at our house.
Teeth! We have tons of them. In first place we have Cale with 8 and 2 more pushing through, Colter in second with 4 and 2 more pushing through then there's Cooper in last place with only 2, come on buddy!
Colter is getting VERY close to walking. He stands on his own and just when I think he is going to take a step he realizes what he is doing and falls to his bottom. Cale and Cooper are both cruising on everything. All three of them walk behind their push toys.
We've had lots of visitors lately. I think everyone must feel bad for us, we hardly leave the house. It is too freaking cold!
My friend Amanda and her cousin Sarah came over with her little boy Urban. He was so sweet to the boys and Cooper loved him. We will have to have a play date very soon.

Cooper and Daddy
Cooper has a natural mohawk so my dear husband decided to get one in honor of him, lol. They are both rockin mohawks, fohawks...whatever they are called. :)

I have been trying my best to get a picture of all three of them in a Santa hat. They all love to wear hats but they also love to take their brothers hats, making it really hard to get them to sit still for 2 seconds. So far I have only been able to get a picture of Cale and Cooper.

I love my life!

This week:
I am knee deep in snot!
Cooper has a double ear infection!
They all have colds, including my biggest baby! :)
They are ALL teething, not my biggest baby but you would think so. (He has sympathy pain for everything)
All of them have decided that 4am is a really great time to wake up.
My house is a disaster.
I have 3 weeks of laundry to catch up on.
I haven’t gone to the grocery store in a month so we are living on turkey sandwiches and take out. (Maybe this one isn’t so bad)
I have a nail in my tire.
And to top it off last night my dog rubbed her head in a pile of her own crap (is this a cry for attention?)
But really... WHO CARES! :)

It’s just been “one of those” weeks! As I was putting my little guys to bed last night I was overwhelmed with love. As mommies we will have moments we’re tested and moments of glory as if we feel like we have conquered the world. Nights we cry ourselves to sleep and nights we can't fall asleep because of our excitement about something. Moments we are weak and moments we feel like we are the only reason the our family can function. Mommies love so deeply it hurts, isn't that an amazing feeling?

At the end of the day, as I step over the laundry I have to fold into my unmade bed I just can't help but to be completely astonished at how God has blessed me. I have three healthy babies and an incredible husband who loves us very much. What more could a girl as for?

Black Friday Bargains

Black Friday was a success! I got some of my Christmas shopping done and even a little gift for myself. :) I'm still not sure my bargains were worth getting up at 2:45 but the time me, my MIL and SIL spent together was. We had lots of fun.
I'm pretty sure the stores mark things WAY up so they can mark them WAY down, that's my philosophy. The gift I bought myself was a Northface Fleece which I have wanted for 3 years and have never been able to break down and buy it. This year I tried on a kids XL and it fit, they are 60.00 cheaper than the adult jackets then I had 60.00 in giftcards from my Bday....I bought it and I felt so good and guilty at the same time. Sean was happy I got it for myself.

Anyway, while I was out shopping and Sean was watching the boys with grandpa and there was a mini addition of "While You Were Out" going on at my house. I had several things I wanted Sean to hang up and I came up to a wonderful surprise. It was ALL done! YIPEE. If you know me than you know I'm a picture fanatic, I have pictures framed and everywhere in my house. Here is my latest:

This is one of the walls in my living room.

I'll be posting lots of pictures later of Thanksgiving!

I have had lots of readers lately from all over the world. The UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain to name a few. I would love to hear from you! Do you have triplets? Leave a comment and say hello.

To all you camera/photography experts out there...

I have a new digital cannon but when we bought it we did not buy a new lens, I just used the one from my old cannon. Anyway, its dead...the guy at cord camera said the focus mechanism is broken and it would cost more to fix than to buy a new one. So, I took hundreds of pictures that looked great on the viewer but when I down loaded them they were ALL blurry! Are you kidding me! I had some great shots of the boys.

I want want to spend between 200-400 on a new lens preferably closer to two hundred but if I have to spend more for a really good lens I will. What would you guys suggest, Kristi...I hope you're out there reading. One person said the image stabilizer is a must. Any other must haves?

Thanks!

Sunday at Church

Our boys were dedicated this morning at church. They were so good and looked so handsome. We had lots of family and friends in town for the service. I am so lucky to have such awesome people in our lives. The boys are SO loved. I am the luckiest mommy in the world! :) Here are a few pictures:

Aunt Kara and Uncle Jereme: Congrats on your new house! The boys can't wait to see how you decorate their room! :)

Uncle Brian and Great Grandma, they are both VERY proud of you!

What a slacker...

I have been a huge slacker lately! Kaleigh our nanny is sick and has been for...oh this is the second week. Our schedules have been horrible and the boys have cabin fever.

A little update:

Cale was our first born and smallest. He has always been the fiestiest! He crawls like a crazy and cruises on everything. He has 8, yes 8 teeth, and he uses those for many things! Eating his food, the couch, books, the crib and of course the biting is NON STOP!! He talks up a little storm and is now saying: Dada, Mama, Baba, NoNo and many more unidentifiable words! :)

Cooper was our second born. He started crawling a little later than the other boys but there is no stopping him now. He doesn't care for his bottle but can put away a pancake in 5 seconds flat. He too is talking like crazy: Dada, Mama, Baba, NoNo...etc. He's also the biggest Mama's boy of them all.

Colter was the last to come and the biggest. He's aquired a new nickname lately, "Bruiser". He likes to go over instead of around anything, including is brothers. They haven't been able to find the fun in that yet but I keep telling them to try. He crawls everywhere and I do mean everywhere. He sometimes reminds me of a little snake or something...he can get his body into places I didn't know was possible.

Needless to say, we've been a little busy lately chasing babies, exploring and trying all sorts of new things.
Sunday the boys get dedicated at church and we're getting out Christmas pictures taken...this should be interesting. Stay tuned for our family Christmas Pics!

The last pretty day!

Well, they say today is going to be the last pretty day before it starts to get really cold. So, the boys and I took advantage of the weather and went to the park. They absolutely LOVE to swing. I always put two of them in one swing, its too funny. They fit a lot better and have a blast. There is a park a couple miles from my house. Its got lots of walking trails and a huge park. After we played at the park for a bit, I decided to take a walk. We went down a VERY steep hill to all the walking trails. We went for a nice little walk then started back to the car. HMMMM...I didn't think about coming back up the hill with three 20+ pound babies in tow. :) We made it up the hill but not without breaking a sweat! We should have been doing that ALL summer. Then maybe I wouldn't still have 10 lbs to lose!
Now, were back home...the boys are playing and I'm attempting to clean! I want to go back to the park and PLAY! :)

Can you tell we have been trying to find the "perfect" sippy cup? I'm pretty sure that is NEVER going to happen!

What would you boys like for dinner? I'll "leaf" that up to you!

I had a stressful day at work today (workers comp audit). All I wanted to do was get home and see my babies. I left work early to vote...NO LINE WHOOO HOOO! Kaliegh (nanny) and I took the boys outside to play since the weather has been so awesome. It was a full-time job keeping the leaves out of their mouths. It's amazing how they can just make your bad day disappear as soon as you see them! I'm so lucky to be their mommy!

He'll huff, and he'll puff and he'll blow your house down!

We had a Wonderful Halloween and the weather was perfect!
