Mommy is sick!

So far I have managed to keep the boys and myself healthy. We've the the occasional ear infection but NOTHING else.

Well, now mommy has a HORRIBLE cold, sinus infection...heck I don't know but I feel like CRAP! Luckily Sean has been great and I've spent most of the day in bed. He knows I NEVER (never say never) get sick.

I can actually hear him in the front room right now. He's changing a poopy diaper...you ask how I know?? I first heard him open the wipes then say...golly kid that stinks! Oh my gosh that is horrible. LOL He's being a trooper!

Thanks honey!

GO COOPER GO!

Over the last week or so Cooper has made remarkable progress! Yesterday, he had PT and Renee (PT) couldn't believe how well he was doing. He can now get in and out of sitting, he can get his knees under him in a crawling position.....AND he even took a couple of strides crawling, ALL BY HIMSELF! Of course I cried! GOOOOOO COOPER GOOOOOOO!

It has been hard for me to watch him as he looks so sad/frustrated that his brothers are up and moving around. About a week ago he was crying and I peaked around the corner and Cale took him a toy and dropped it off right in front of him. (he's a little enabler)

They are 9 months old! Well Baby Check

The boys had their 9 month well baby check last week. Boy, are they growing fast.

Colter: 21lbs
Cooper: 19lbs
Cale: 18lbs

They were all on the growth curve for non-adjusted weight and height...whooo hooo. Their weight gain is slowing down a bit. The doc said that was normal when they start to move around because they are burning so many calories.

They are all doing great. They learn something new everyday.

I'm so proud to be their mommy!

How to keep your sanity as a parent of TRIPLETS!

This was emailed to me by a couple of different people in my office. I guess they all thought I needed a good laugh.

15 Ways To Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity (While raising Triplets)

1. At Lunch Time, Sit In Your Parked Car With Sunglasses on and point a Hair Dryer At Passing Cars. See If They Slow Down.

2. Page Yourself Over The Intercom. Don't Disguise Your Voice.

3. Every Time Someone Asks You To Do Something, ask If They Want Fries with that.

4. Put Decaf In The Coffee Maker For 3 Weeks . Once Everyone has Gotten Over Their Caffeine Addictions, Switch to Espresso.

5. In the Memo Field Of All Your Checks, Write "For Marijuana".

6. Finish All Your sentences with "In Accordance With The Prophecy".

7. Skip down the hall Rather Than Walk and see how many looks you get.

8. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat, with a serious face.

9. Specify That Your Drive-through Order Is "To Go".

10. Sing Along At The Opera.

11. Put Mosquito Netting Around Your Work Area and Play tropical Sounds All Day.

12 . Five Days In Advance, Tell Your Friends You Can't Attend Their Party Because You have a headache.

A Bubble Bath, Book and a Back Massage

Every evening I feed the boys, put them to bed and then clean the house. I love waking up to a somewhat clean house. This evening I got the boys into bed and started cleaning up. My husband came in and told me to go take a bubble bath and read my book. He would take care of the house. WOW. Then he even gave me a back massage. I'm not sure if he did something wrong or he was just tired of my leg hair flapping in the wind TMI. :) Either way...I really enjoyed my little break. Thank you, Sean!

Holy Moly...NO KIDDOS!

We took our first little vacation with no kiddos. The weekend before last Sean and I went to Orlando and met some friends who live in Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend. I cried the entire week before leaving. I left the boys in VERY capable hands of Memaw and Papaw so I wasn't worried I just knew I would miss them TERRIBLY.

Once I got down there I did much better than I thought I would. Of course I called a few hundred times but we really enjoyed spending some time with each other and the SLEEP! We took naps EVERYDAY and of course it was great to see friends.

We first went to Halloween Horror at Universal Studios, after a long nap. :) It was a blast. Danielle (our friend) is petrified of them and it was super funny to watch her. I think her screaming startled me more than the haunted houses. The next day we rode rides and went out for a nice dinner...YES A HOT MEAL! I had sushi and seared scallops. It was delicious.

When we got home the boys were SO excited to see us! I didn't think they could crawl so fast! Cale laid his head on my shoulder for 10 minutes and that isn't like him, he's a mover. Memaw and Papaw practically mowed us over leaving as we were coming in. I think the boys gave them a run for their money.

We're taking the boys to Tennessee next month for a long weekend. I'm dreading the drive but it will be lots of fun when we get down there. Sean's mom and dad own a rental cabin in Wears Valley just out side of Pigeon Forge...check it out,

Sean proposed to me on the front porch. We really enjoying going there to relax and shop of course (they have a great outlet mall).

Pulsing Teeth

We're teething like crazy at our house. A couple of months ago Cale had two teeth and we thought four more were going to pop through...we could see them. Then they went away. I found out that teeth can pulse up and down. Anyway, they disappeared for awhile then came back with vengeance. Cale now has 6 teeth! He's ready for a steak. Cale and Cooper are still tied with two.

The bitting has also begun!!!

My three little Pumpkins!

We took the boys to Beasley's Orchard today to get pumpkins and had a BLAST. This was our first official outing in our Choo Choo Wagon. The boys did great and loved it. It was almost 85 here in Indy today, that is so hard to believe this time of year. I'm excited about fall (my favorite season) but it also means snow is around the corner...YUCK.

Daddy gave the boys some of his carmel apple when Mommy wasn't looking and they loved it. I asked him why they were all crying and he said they wanted more of his apple.

Beasley's gave them all t-shirts that said, "My first pumpkin came from the patch at Beasley's orchard."

Lovin' on my boys after a long afternoon!

Where have my babies gone?

It seems like I've blinked and they have gotten SO big. This past week we have been experimenting with finger foods and they have LOVED it. They've had peaches, noodles, and crackers to name a few.

A friend of mine had triplets and I went to visit her in the NICU. I can't even remember them being that small. It seems unreal. I had to take Colter to the doc yesterday for a follow-up on his ear infection and he weighed 21 lbs. He was between the 50-75th percentile in weight!

They are also into everything and little whodinis. They can get through ANY baricade.
