Happy Mothers Day to ME!

What an awesome weekend! I have been absolutely pampered! I have great husband and the sweetest little boys ever! Our weekend was action packed!
A couple of weeks ago I was asked to speak in front of about 30 women at church for a mother's day luncheon. Before I had even started my eyes were watering so I knew I was in trouble and half way through I couldn't even see my notes. We all have days that bedtime just doesn't come fast enough or you're pretty sure you might be going crazy but as I was writing my little speech I had some time to reflect. The last couple of years for me and my family have been amazing. I feel so honored that God has chosen me to be Cooper, Cale and Colter's mommy. Seriously, what a GIFT! Everyday they teach me something (aren't I supposed to be their teacher). I've learned patience, how to roll with the punchs, how to pick battles (does it really matter if they are eating paper?), when to hold firm and when to act silly but most importantly they have taught me to love in way I could never have imaginged.

After my luncheon we had Sean's family over for a cookout. Sean's sister has two little ones. Her son will be three in august and her daughter 2 months old. It was fun to watch them play with their cousin. He isn't used to sharing unlike my boys so we had a few meltdowns but all in all successful!

Later that evening Sean and I went to a 1980s themed birthday party. One of my good friends was turning 30! I had some BIG hair. We stopped by Meijer on the way there and he wouldn't even walk with me, lol. He dropped me off at one end to get my blue eye shadow and he went to the other for some goodies. I saw him while I was checking out and took off walking the other way. :) So, what do I do...I start yelling...HEY HONEY WAIT FOR ME! It was too funny!

A couple of pictures from the party:
Sean and the birthday girl! I LOVE HER PROM DRESS!

My bangs were lookin a little flat, LOL! I didn't take very many pictures but I was also sporting so leggings (even though I said I wouldn't wairt them and a nice little skirt with some hot pink shoes.

Sunday we packed up the boys and took the to Cox's Nursery so I could buy somethings for my garden. Then we went to the park and had a picnic and played for a bit. We were all a filthy mess but had tons of fun! While they were napping I planted my garden: rubarb, green peppers, red peppers, jalepeno peppers, chili peppers, lettece, big tomatoes, green beans, brocolli and roma tomatoes...I think that is it.

I just had an awesome weekend...Do I REALLY have to go to work on Monday?
