My kids are fearless...I wish I could say the same about ME!

Sean and I took the boys and my niece on a last minute trip to a water park in Southern Indiana on Friday. We left early that morning, picked up my niece and PLAYED all day. I was a nervous wreck with three toddlers at the pool but they LOVED every minute of it. My boys are fearless!!!! They went up and down the slides, climbed on everything they could, and stuck their faces right in the fountains. I was so proud of my brave little boys! Lots more pictures to follow!

Take me out the ballpark...

What an awesome weekend! We took the boys to their first softball and baseball game. My niece's team had a tournament a few minutes from my house so we braved the heat and took the boys to the game. We didn't stay long but it was so much fun watching her play!

Later that evening we went to Victory Field to watch a baseball game. The high school Sean attended made it for the first time ever to the state championship. They didn't win but 2nd place isn't too bad! Its a TINY school. I had shirts made for the boys and they looked adorable!

After we left the game we stopped by Dennis' ("uncle") condo where the boys ransacked the place...definitely not baby proof. He let them play on his grand piano which of course they loved. He spoils the boys to death.

Now it's Sunday (Father's Day) and I am wiped out! We got up and went to church this morning the boys were very good. Then spent the rest of the day outside, grilling and playing in the sprinklers.

Summer FUN

It seems like I haven't posted in forever! The boys are huge and are keeping me very busy with all the new mischief they have been up to lately. They have just about conquered every gate in my house! They could climb to the top of a mountain and they have incredible balance. This evening I walked in to my front room to find them pushing the recliner to the wall in order to take pictures off the wall. NOTHING IS SAFE!

Just wanted to share a few of them eating their very first watermelon! It was a HUGE hit!

Do we HAVE to come home?

After a long weekend at my in-laws cabin we're back to reality! We had such a great FIRST family vacation! It was so nice to get away and much over do. It was great to spend time with eachother without the resposibilities of housework. The cabin has an amazing view. We spend a lot of time relaxing and didn't try and cram too much in. We kept the boys on their schedule and they were so good. I was so proud of them.

The definite highlight of the trip was the petting zoo. The boys had the best time and so did we! I had a hard time picking out pictures to share with everyone. The first animals the boys got to meet at the petting zoo were the goats. Cale is in a lot of pictures because he was the first to warm up to the idea of being in the pens with all the critters. They all evenly warmed up and went wild!

Cooper and daddy meeting the goats:

Mommy and Cale holding the baby goat.

The deer pen really freaked me out. It was fun but they were pretty skittesh so they jumped easily and when they jumped so did I. We didn't stay in there long but we did feed them for a minute.

We also went to the aquariam. The boys were amazed and it was so much fun to watch them point at everyone. It was amazing to watch them just take it all in. Their little wheels were turning and they just started and pointed at everything with amazement.

The boys could get used to this...it would be amazing to eat like this everyday!

It was time to head back today...so we kissed Mr. Casey Bear goodbye

and cried a few tears! :)

It really was such an awesome first vaction. We were so proud of the boys.

Happy Mothers Day to ME!

What an awesome weekend! I have been absolutely pampered! I have great husband and the sweetest little boys ever! Our weekend was action packed!
A couple of weeks ago I was asked to speak in front of about 30 women at church for a mother's day luncheon. Before I had even started my eyes were watering so I knew I was in trouble and half way through I couldn't even see my notes. We all have days that bedtime just doesn't come fast enough or you're pretty sure you might be going crazy but as I was writing my little speech I had some time to reflect. The last couple of years for me and my family have been amazing. I feel so honored that God has chosen me to be Cooper, Cale and Colter's mommy. Seriously, what a GIFT! Everyday they teach me something (aren't I supposed to be their teacher). I've learned patience, how to roll with the punchs, how to pick battles (does it really matter if they are eating paper?), when to hold firm and when to act silly but most importantly they have taught me to love in way I could never have imaginged.

After my luncheon we had Sean's family over for a cookout. Sean's sister has two little ones. Her son will be three in august and her daughter 2 months old. It was fun to watch them play with their cousin. He isn't used to sharing unlike my boys so we had a few meltdowns but all in all successful!

Later that evening Sean and I went to a 1980s themed birthday party. One of my good friends was turning 30! I had some BIG hair. We stopped by Meijer on the way there and he wouldn't even walk with me, lol. He dropped me off at one end to get my blue eye shadow and he went to the other for some goodies. I saw him while I was checking out and took off walking the other way. :) So, what do I do...I start yelling...HEY HONEY WAIT FOR ME! It was too funny!

A couple of pictures from the party:
Sean and the birthday girl! I LOVE HER PROM DRESS!

My bangs were lookin a little flat, LOL! I didn't take very many pictures but I was also sporting so leggings (even though I said I wouldn't wairt them and a nice little skirt with some hot pink shoes.

Sunday we packed up the boys and took the to Cox's Nursery so I could buy somethings for my garden. Then we went to the park and had a picnic and played for a bit. We were all a filthy mess but had tons of fun! While they were napping I planted my garden: rubarb, green peppers, red peppers, jalepeno peppers, chili peppers, lettece, big tomatoes, green beans, brocolli and roma tomatoes...I think that is it.

I just had an awesome weekend...Do I REALLY have to go to work on Monday?
