Happy 2nd Birthday to my little men!

It seems like just yesterday they were 3-4 pound little babies and now they are talking, running, jumping, climbing, destroying, fighting and the sweetest little boys EVER. All three of them are SO different and I just can't describe how much I love them!

Cale born at 12:54p, weighing 3.9lbs. He is a momma's boy but his best friend is Melmo aka Elmo! He is the most vocal of the three and loves to sing and dance. He says about everything and loves to sing his ABCs (we're still working on it but he tries). His favorite word is probably WOW! His favorite food would probably be chicken nuggets. He is the least picky of the three.

Cooper born at 12:55p, weighing 3.12lbs. He is so easy going! He loves to build things and draw. He's going to the artistic one...maybe an architect. He almost always can be found with his trusty magna-doodle in hand. Cooper is always smiling and willing to give you hugs and kisses. His favorite word is Uh-Oh and he is a big tattle tale! I always know there is something going on when he runs to me yelling uh-oh mommy...no no no while pointing in the direction of his brothers! His favorite foods are pancakes and oatmeal!

Colter born at 12:56p, weighing 4.4lbs. He has an iron will! He is both a Mommy and Daddy's boy depending on the day. His favorite thing to do is follow his daddy around and do everything he does! He loves tools and knows just about what all of them are and what they do. He LOVES puzzles and can put one together faster than me! He also has a weird obsession with the vacuum cleaner. He is the pickiest eater of the three and hates to get his hands messy while he eats.

They are such amazing little boys and I feel so lucky to be their mommy! They are saying something or doing something new every day. They are fighting one minute and hugging the next. They are absolutely growing up too fast.

I will post some pictures tomorrow...I am competely worn out from all the playing we've done today!

Happy Birthday Cooper, Colter and Cale! Your Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!

Busy Busy Busy

December was action packed. The boys LOVED Christmas this year and were so cute! I got up early, made breakfast and waited very impatiently for them to get up. They were still sleeping at 8:15 and I couldn't wait one more minute. I woke up three very grouchy little boys but as soon as they saw the tree and presents they all immediately stopped crying and said WOW! It was priceless!

Sean has been working away on our basement...thank goodness, we need SPACE! It's crazy how quickly toys multiply and the walls start closing in! We were hoping to have this done before winter was over so Molly our nanny who we LOVE LOVE LOVE wouldn't go crazy and quit!

The boys have been helping daddy on this project and its so cute watching them mimic him. They are learning all kinds of bad habits...aside from the obvious boy bad habits they like to carry pencils in their mouths just like daddy.

Operate drills and anything else they are supposed to:
(notice he is even putting the screw on the end)

Climb ladders:

Use hammers:

Among many many other boy things! :)

Saturday we wanted to get out for a bit so we took the boys to the Children's Museum. Cale drank some disgusting water from this water table...yummy...hope we don't get the flu again!
The sand table was a HUGE hit as always! Although, I almost knocked another mom out who kept taking toys from my kids! Who does that??? I'm sorry your kid is bored with that toy but mine have been here for 5 minutes and are still playing with that! My boys could have taken hers. :)

Then of course there is potty training, oh the joy. The boys love sitting on the big potty to the point there are major fights and I cry, lol. Sean was very proud of this picture of Cale reading the Jeep magazine.

And last but not least look a the yummy treats I made! Aren't they cute?? Maybe one of my New Year's resolutions should be to become more domestic....nah, lol! They were actually very easy to make and I started to perfect my process about half way through also just about the time I got tired of making them so rushed to finish but all in all very easy! Let me know if you would like the details.

Well, back to work I go! I hope all of your holidays were wonderful!

Christmas Trees and Monster Trucks!

Can it really get any better for ALMOST 2 year old boys??? They were in complete Heaven over this long weekend. They got all sorts of attention from their grandparents, tons of good food, we got our tree and went to see the monster trucks. In the words of my boys...WHOAA!

Thursday was action packed with lots of eating but FRIDAY even more fun! As we do every year the girls went shopping! We are hardcore, up at 3am standing in line by 4 with Starbucks in hand. I honestly dont even go for the doorbusters its just fun to get out with the girls and of course to watch all the crazy people. I guess the police were even called to Toys r Us!

Saturday the boys and I played all morning and I tried to recoup from Friday. Later that evening we took them to the monster truck show. They were amazed by the trucks.

Preparing to go!

Sean explaining something about axles, blah blah blah!

Colter ran straight for this new camero! My boy has great taste!

Sunday we went to Nelson's Christmas Tree Farm! The boys loved it! We were all freezing cold so I found the first try that was half way decent and we cut it down. Hopefully, I can stuff enough ornaments in it to hide the bare spots, oh well! :)

Christmas Shopping!

The big day is almost here BLACK FRIDAY! I really don't have much more to buy but the shopping rush is always fun. Me, my MIL and SIL go together every year and my MIL runs circles around us.

I am DONE with the boys! I picked up their last present yesterday. I had been searching everywhere for the perfect powerwheel but didn't want to spend $400.00-500.00 bucks. Well...yesterday I was heading to the grocery store when there it was on the side of the road. I pulled over and it was PERFECT. It doesn't even look like its ever been driven. Its a little big so I'm hoping it will take them awhile to outgrow it. The best part was the price 100.00!!!!

I can't wait for Christmas morning. I am totally going to be one of those moms that videos the entire thing. I NEVER thought I would do that but we can edit out all the boring stuff I just don't want to miss anything. Its going to be SO much fun.

Happy Shopping and I can't wait to hear about all the bargains!

I took the plunge...

and got braces...yes you heard it right...braces. My teeth weren't horrible but they were a bit crowded and as silly as it sounds I had this little gap between my front two teeth that bugged the crap out of me! The best part is my insurance paid for almost all of it so I thought why not! Now I will only have to survive my husband making fun of me for 6 months!

I looked into invisalign but the dentist didn't think that was right for me. So we opted for the 6 month smile (ONLY 6 MONTHS) which are braces that are geared for adults who don't have any issues with their bite. See below:

My braces on the left and traditional ones on the right...

Hopefully I'll have some really great before and after pictures in 6 months!
